The Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development, CJID through its climate change project is pleased to invite Nigerian journalists and editors who are interested in reporting Climate Change to apply for a 2-day capacity building workshop on Climate Inclusive Reporting.
The workshop aims to enhancing the capacity of journalists in reporting Climate Change issues, and other practices in Nigeria.
Selection criteria
- Applicant must be based in Nigeria
- Applicant must write/report for a Nigeria based media platform with national or sub-regional coverage
- Journalists who report for international media organisations with a presence in Nigeria may also apply.
- Applicants must have experience of reporting on environmental or climate-related issues.
- Particular reference will be given to applicants with a track record of investigative reporting and policy analysis.
- Female journalists are encouraged to apply
- Persons with disability are also encouraged to apply
